Frostbite Armor is a unique set in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, but finding it can be difficult due to its dispersed placement across the map. That’s where this guide comes in handy.
Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Guide – How to get the Frostbite Armor Set
The Frostbite Armor set, like many others in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, is composed of several separate pieces that can be found in various locations.
Frostbite Shirt
To find the Shirt piece, go southeast of Rito Village, near the Lucky Clover Gazette. Continue down the road to the east, stop when you reach the big rock formation, and turn right. You’ll find a pair standing outside Brightcap Cave, and you can go inside to find the shirt.
You’ll need to follow the cave’s entire path to find it, and the chest containing this shirt will be hidden behind a thicket of bushes. You can either fire an arrow with a Fire Fruit or toss it yourself to burn it away and continue inside.
Frostbite Trousers
To find this piece, head east from the Rospro Pass Skyview Tower. You’ll want to continue past Kebra Plunge and into a small series of caves to the northeast of this location, to Heabra Headspring. The Hebra Headspring Cave is located to the north of that small river, and the trousers can be found inside.
Continue inside the cave, keeping to the right. At this location, you’ll find a small opening and the chest containing the Frosbite Trousers.
Frostbite Headdress
The Frostbite Headdress can be found to the north-northwest of the Rospro Pass Skyview Tower. We recommend that you use this as a staging area for the Headdress and Trousers. From the top of Skyview Tower, fly northward over Lake Kilsie until you reach Lake Kilsie Cave.
There will be a strong wind in the cave’s heart when you finally reach it. To get to the middle of the cave, you’ll need to use your Paraglider here; on the right side, there are some rocks that can be blown up with a Bomb Flower on an arrow; and behind that is a chest containing the Frostbite Headdress.
Now that you’ve finished the Frostbite Armor Set, it’s time to put it on and test out the Cold Weather Damage it provides.
