The Malice Hands can’t climb up surfaces, so if you can get to a raised ledge or something similar, you can fight them from afar.
When shooting from afar, you should aim directly at the eyes on the palms of the hands. Each hand has a decent amount of health for a five-deep foe, so you’ll need to use powerful bows and fuse materials to your arrows in order to defeat them.
Another option is to use Area-of-Effect attacks to your advantage. Bomb Flowers are an inexpensive and cost-effective way to defeat Malice Hands. Chu Chu Jelly is also a great way to deal wide damage while also having an elemental impact on all five hands at once.
If you are grabbed, rock your analog sticks wildly to escape the Malice Hands’ grasp; otherwise, they will drain all of your health and kill you.
You’ll also want to move quickly because the Gloom Spawn hand monsters can respawn if you don’t kill all five of them. In addition, spread your attacks around between them so that they all reach low health at the same time, allowing you to quickly take them all out.
