Finding “ruins from the age of legends” is the only clue you’ll need to follow. The game features a large number of ruins, the majority of which fit that general description. The more you travel, the more likely it is that you will mistakenly believe that any famous landmark will do. However, the actual location is Kakariko’s Ring Ruins. It is, in fact, the fifth and final stone tablet.
You can get there by using your traversal skills to get to the area’s central section. If you have the Ascend ability, you should be able to get to the small room. Snap a pic using the Purah Pad, then head back down to report your findings to Paya and Tauro.
There’s plenty more to find the Fifth Sage, but finding that first thread to grasp is the difficult part. Once you’ve completed this, you’ll be directed to the Dracozu Lake and River in the Faron region. Although your quest is far from over, you have completed the most difficult puzzle!
