The New York Yankees landed the biggest offseason prize when they signed star Aaron Judge. The team can now concentrate on their other roster requirements.
Bryan Reynolds could be a potential target for the Yankees
Reynolds asked the team for a trade earlier this month after becoming dissatisfied with the team. The Yankees are said to be interested in trading for him… However, given the Pirates’ disinterest, MSN believes they will stick with Andrew Benintendi.
“Bringing back Benintendi has also remained a priority considering that though the Yankees have made clear to the Pirates their interest in Bryan Reynolds, the team hasn’t gotten the impression Pittsburgh is currently particularly motivated to trade Reynolds, despite his request to be dealt, which the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Justin Mackey reported.”

Last season, the Yankees acquired Andrew Benintendi from the Kansas City Royals in a trade. Benintendi was expected to bring much-needed consistency to a struggling hitting group at the time.
