Andrews (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Panthers, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.

His condition is improving. He was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday but participated fully on Friday.

When asked if he would return to the field on Thursday, Andrews said, “you never know.” He admitted that missing the Ravens’ final game before the bye was difficult, but that as a veteran, he can see the bigger picture.

Coach John Harbaugh told ESPN.com’s Jamison Hensley earlier Friday that Andrews “took quite a few reps” in the final practice of Week 11, and the tight end was listed as a full participant.

Nonetheless, the Ravens will proceed with caution regarding Andrews’ status, with Harbaugh adding, “I think we’ll wait until Sunday to say for sure.” Andrews’ availability (or lack thereof) will be known before the early slate of games, making it easier to pivot to Baltimore backup Isaiah Likely or another TE.

Andrews enters his fifth NFL season after leading all tight ends in targets, receptions, yardage, touchdowns, and end zone targets last season (14). Andrews was the highest-scoring TE in fantasy by 38 points, but it’s worth noting his splits with and without Lamar Jackson.

Andrews was the highest-scoring TE in fantasy by 38 points, but it’s worth noting his splits with and without Lamar Jackson.

Andrews averaged 7.9 targets and 14.9 fantasy points per game in 11 games with Jackson (four top-five weeks).

Andrews averaged 10.8 targets and 22.9 fantasy points per game in six games without Jackson (top five all six weeks). This suggests that Andrews’ late-season surge may not continue, but the departure of Marquise Brown locks him into a massive target share.

In addition, he has never finished lower than fifth in average depth of target, and he has finished in the top two in end zone targets in each of the last three seasons. Andrews is a top-tier fantasy asset who is on pace for his fourth straight top-six fantasy season.

Gus Edwards

Gudwards (hamstring/knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Panthers, according to SiriusXM NFL Radio’s Adam Caplan.

Edwards had three consecutive limited practices during Week 11 preparation, leaving his status in doubt as he looks to cut his DNP streak to one game with the help of a Week 10 bye.

He’ll most likely put his recovering right hamstring to the test ahead of Sunday’s 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff, for which his availability will be known about 90 minutes before kickoff.

If Edwards is limited or out this weekend, Kenyan Drake will likely benefit the most, with Justice Hill and Mike Davis on hand for any RB reps that remain.
