The Milwaukee Bucks
On Thursday, the Milwaukee Bucks played one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference. On Sunday night, when the Philadelphia 76ers come to town, they will play another big game.
Milwaukee (55-22) just had its second-worst home loss in team history when the Boston Celtics beat them 140-99.
Milwaukee is in first place in the Eastern Conference, but just 1 1/2 games ahead of Boston, which holds a 2 1/2-game edge over third-place Philadelphia.
- Giannis Antetokounmpo – Active
Against Celtics, Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 24 points, seven rebounds, two assists, one block, and one steal in 25 minutes (11-27 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT).
Antetokounmpo scored the most points for Milwaukee again, and he also made the most shots, even though he only shot 40.1% from the field.
Antetokounmpo has scored more than 20 points in 13 straight games. He also averages 31.1 points and 11.8 rebounds per game, which makes him the Bucks’ best player.
Meyers Leonard couldn’t play for the Bucks against the Celtics because he hurt his calf. Budenholzer told reporters that he is “hopeful” Leonard will play again in the regular season.
Thanasis Antetokounmpo, who was suspended for one game after headbutting Celtics forward/center Blake Griffin, will also not play for Milwaukee.
Khris Middleton had to leave Thursday’s game against the Celtics because he was elbowed in the face and started bleeding. Against the 76ers, though, he is expected to play.

The Sixers
The Philadelphia 76ers (51-26) earned a 117-110 victory over the visiting Raptors on Friday to pick up its second straight win following a three-game skid.
Joel Embiid and James Harden each put up double-doubles, with Embiid going for 25 points and 12 boards and Harden supplying 23 points with 11 assists.
Joel Embiid averages 33 points per game, which is the most in the NBA. He also leads the Sixers in average rebounds (10.2) and blocks (1.7) per game. James Harden is also one of the leaders in the league. He averages the most assists per game in the NBA, which is 10.9.

Tobias Harris wasn’t able to play for the 76ers on Friday because he was sick, but he will be fine for the game against Milwaukee. This season, he has averaged 15.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.5 assists.
The 76ers will try to win the season series against the Bucks. They have won the last two games, including a 133-130 win on March 4 that put an end to the Bucks’ 16-game winning streak.
