The Bucks
Milwaukee is looking for its 11th straight win over Indiana in the third of four games between these division rivals this season.
In addition to having a 113-91 advantage in the all-time series, the last time the Pacers won the season series was the 2017-18 season.
While the Pacers have won two of three, the red-hot Bucks return home after a 2-1 west coast road trip and come back to with a three-game lead over Boston in the Eastern Conference.
The Milwaukee Bucks, who became the first team in the NBA to clinch a playoff spot with their win on Tuesday, will be hosting the Indiana Pacers, who are vying for a play-in spot, on Thursday.
With help from Giannis Antetokounmpo’s near triple-double of 36 points, 11 rebounds, and 8 assists, the Bucks cruised to a 116-104 victory over the Phoenix Suns on the second night of a road back-to-back.
After scoring 46 points on Monday in a win over the Kings and then posting another big double-double in the second game of a back-to-back, Antetokounmpo showed no ill effects from the hand injury that forced a three-game absence.
A number of fouls were called on the MVP candidate against the Suns, but he only shot 14 of 24 from the charity stripe, resulting in a loss of 10 points.
With 31.5 points and 11.9 rebounds per game, Antetokounmpo is the Bucks’ leading scorer and rebounder.
Khris Middleton (knee management) and Grayson Allen (plantar fasciitis) did not play for the Bucks. Even though he signed on March 4, free agent Goran Dragic (knee) has yet to make his debut with the team.

The Pacers
After beating the Detroit Pistons 121-115 on Saturday, the Indiana Pacers lost 117-97 on the road against them on Monday night.
If you combine his points (20.8), assists (10.4), and steals (1.6), Tyrese Haliburton is the undisputed leader for Indiana in the NBA. While, Myles Turner’s 7.6 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game are a major problem for opposing teams when facing the Indiana Pacers.
The Pacers said Monday that Mathurin is “making real positive strides with his rehab,” and he is one of five Pacers listed as day-to-day. But Carlisle would not commit to a specific return date. All four of Turner, Haliburton, Chris Duarte (ankle), and T.J. McConnell (back) are listed as questionable for Sunday’s game.
- Tyrese Haliburton – Doubt vs. Bucks
Tyrese Haliburton’s (knee) participation in this game is in doubt.
He has missed the past two games with a bruised left knee but has returned to practice and is looking good for Thursday’s game.
