Why are my Overwatch 2 characters locked ?
There are several reasons why you may find characters locked in Overwatch 2, the first is that you just haven’t unlocked them yet, and the other more serious reason is that the game still has similar issues as it faced at launch.
After the release of Overwatch 2, an issue emerged that randomly placed players in the game’s First Time User Experience, regardless of how long they had played Overwatch. This means that characters are automatically locked until a certain number of games have been played.
