While these aren’t the only places to look for this new weapon, they are the ones we recommend. Keep in mind that the larger POIs draw a large number of players, so you must outrun your opponents if you land there.
Is it worthwhile to use the explosive goo gun?
We think the Explosive Goo Gun is well worth picking up in any Fortnite match. While the damage it deals isn’t the most powerful in the game, the goo’s sticky nature makes it useful in both Zero Build and normal Fortnite. It is especially effective against enemies in Zero Build. This is due to the fact that it can practically take down Overshield and standard shields of players if you get enough goo on them.
How to defend yourself against the Explosive Goo Gun
The best way to deal with the Explosive Goo Gun is to stay at medium to long range or use cover. The Explosive Goo Gun is most effective when it is directly attached to you, but it has a limited range. Using a sniper or assault rifle will aid in the elimination of anyone wielding this weapon.
Unfortunately, in close quarters, you may be caught off guard at times. We recommend using cover or a building to protect yourself in these situations. You could also try using utility items to put distance between yourself and the enemy.
In the worst scenario, you could also run at the enemy if they hit you with goo. This way, when it explodes, they will be damaged as well.
Finally, make sure to collect some stronger weapons from any Holo-Chests in Fortnite. This will increase your damage against opponents.
