What is the Prototype Stasis Module in Dead Space Remake?
First and foremost, you will require this piece of equipment. To obtain it, you must complete the Premeditated Malpractice side mission. This begins with obtaining a tissue sample in Chapter 5: Lethal Devotion, then progressing to various locations throughout the ship before arriving at the final recording in Hydroponics. When you arrive, complete the side mission and look for the Prototype Stasis Module on a nearby table. What most likely confuses you is that it does not enter your inventory or explain what it does.
The benefits of the upgrade, on the other hand, are fairly straightforward. After picking up the Module, every enemy affected by stasis will now be completely immobilized rather than just slowed. Furthermore, they will be electrified, causing damage over time rather than the standard zero-damage slowdown effect. As a result, this upgrade should be obtained as soon as possible, as it greatly simplifies any fights that require stasis.
While there is a lot of running around to do before you can get the Prototype Stasis Module, given how little you have to go off the beaten path, it’s well worth the effort. Have fun watching those necromorphs perish! They’re not great cooked, but they’re hilarious either way.
