In a sadly ironic twist in events, a teenager was gunned down on the streets close to the set of new film ‘Dead Man Down’ which stars Colin Farrell. The movie was set to be filmed on location in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The teenager was gunned down just hours before the movie was due to beginning filming, and according to the production team who spoke to the police, they felt it was eerily ironic to see the subject matter in real life:
“One of the officers was like, ‘Your movie’s called Dead Man Down, isn’t it?’ And I was like, ‘yeah.’ And he was like, ‘oh …'”
Another production staffer Sean Galczyk commented:
“I’d say it’s definitely really ironic to be a part of this (fictional film), and then to see it (in real life). It’s weird.”
The teenager was sadly pronounced dead upon arrival at a near hospital and three suspects have been taken into custody.
