We’ll provide the latest news on these RBs and their fantasy injuries that could affect the Week 9 landscape below.
Week 9 Fantasy Injury Update: Kenny Pickett, Mark Andrews and Dalton Schultz
- Kenny Pickett
In a 35-13 loss to the Eagles in Week 8, Kenny Pickett completed 25 of 38 passes for 191 yards and an interception. In the loss, he gained 37 yards on seven carries.
In Week 8, Pickett and the Pittsburgh offense struggled against a tough Eagles defense. His interception came in the end zone on a tipped pass.
Pickett fumbled twice and lost one. To make matters worse, Chase Claypool, not Pickett, threw the only touchdown pass for Pittsburgh. The Steelers have a week off before facing the Saints in Week 10.

- Mark Andrews
Injury: Knee/shoulder
Andrews missed his second straight day of practice, indicating that he is unlikely to play. He has never missed a game due to injury in his five-year career, but Baltimore may be wise to keep him out.
Andrews sits, he will have 24 days of rest between games (the Ravens have a bye next week) and will be in better shape for the second half of the season.
Andrews would most likely be replaced by Isaiah Likely.
UPDATE 2: Schultz is now ACTIVE.
UPDATE: On Sunday, Schultz is expected to play.
Dalton Schultz of the Dallas Cowboys is still dealing with a knee injury that has plagued him for the majority of the season.
The good news is that he did practice all week, albeit in a limited capacity, and appears to be on track to play again this week. He was officially listed as questionable by the Cowboys.
On Sunday, the Cowboys face the Chicago Bears in the early game. After missing Week 6, he returned last week, catching all five passes thrown his way for 49 yards, his best game since Week 1.
He’s missed two games this season, and his knee injury has limited his output when he’s played. Last week’s performance was hopefully a sign of better things to come, and he obviously benefits from having Dak Prescott back at quarterback.
