1. Ezekiel Elliott

UPDATE 3: Elliott (knee) was listed as a limited participant on Monday’s estimated injury report, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.

UPDATE 2: The Cowboys did not promote a running back from the practice squad this week, indicating Elliott (knee) will play against the Vikings on Sunday, according to Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News.

UPDATE: As per John Machota of the Athletic, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones told 105.3 The Fan that he expects Elliott (knee) to play on Sunday (“I think he’s on go,” Jones said, after mentioning that they’ll see how he looks on Friday).

Elliott practiced on Thursday and Friday and was previously considered “day-to-day,” according to Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News.

According to ESPN’s Todd Archer, the bruising back returned to practice on Wednesday, but his reps were being monitored.

The Cowboys had a bye last week, which was ideal for Elliott, who missed Week 8 due to a sprained MCL.

Tony Pollard ran the ball well against the Bears, so it will be interesting to see how many carries the veteran running back gets.

Pollard rushed for 131 yards and three touchdowns on 14 attempts in the 20-point victory over Chicago.

On Sunday, Elliott and Pollard should have success against the Packers’ defense, which has allowed the 13th-most fantasy points per game to running backs this season.

Pollard is currently ranked slightly higher than Elliott, but both are viable options this week.

2. Matthew Stafford

UPDATE 5: After undergoing further testing Monday, the Rams have yet to place Stafford in the NFL’s concussion protocol, Skyler Carlin of USA Today reports.

UPDATE 4: Stafford (concussion) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game in New Orleans.

UPDATE 3: According to Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times, Stafford has cleared the NFL’s concussion protocol and is expected to play against New Orleans.

UPDATE 2: Stafford returned to practice on Wednesday and Thursday, indicating that he will almost certainly play against New Orleans in Week 11.

UPDATE: Stafford (concussion protocol) is progressing well, according to Sean McVay, but he is still questionable for this week’s game against the Cardinals.

Stafford has not participated in practice since entering concussion protocol.

Stafford’s entry into concussion protocol on Wednesday isn’t a good sign for his Week 10 availability, and the Rams will almost certainly start backup QB John Wolford against the Cardinals this week.

This season, the Rams have allowed the fifth-most sacks (28), which most likely contributed to Stafford’s concussion.

Cooper Kupp, Allen Robinson, and Tyler Higbee’s fantasy projections will suffer if Wolford starts, but we’d still keep Kupp and Higbee in lineups because of the matchup.

While the Rams would prefer to rely more on the run with Wolford at quarterback, their inability to gain much ground (31st in rushing yards) complicates matters.

3. Josh Allen 

UPDATE 3: Allen (right elbow) was listed as limited on Monday’s practice estimate, Chris Brown of the Bills’ official site reports.

UPDATE 2: Allen (right elbow) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game in Detroit against the Browns.

UPDATE: Due to his elbow injury, Buffalo’s star quarterback Josh Allen will not play this weekend. He was a “limited participant” in practice all week.

Unlike last week, Allen’s right elbow’s status is clear ahead of kickoff. The Bills’ Week 11 home game, however, was moved to a neutral site due to a Lake Effect Snow Warning in the Buffalo area, with the same 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff time.

Allen will thus face a Cleveland defense that has given up the seventh-most yards per attempt (7.6) to opposing quarterbacks in Ford Field’s cozy confines this season.

4. Deandre Hopskins

UPDATE: Hopkins was questionable to play in Monday’s game due to a hamstring injury, but he showed no signs of it early on.

On the team’s first two offensive possessions, he had three receptions for 40 yards and finished the first half with seven catches for 77 yards.

However, the Cardinals’ offense collapsed in the final two quarters, and Hopkins’ output followed suit. Despite the disappointing finish, he has at least 12 targets in four of his five games this season.
