Activision has revealed that Warzone Season 5 will be the final season of the iconic Call of Duty battle royale, as well as the most significant content update. Despite the exciting new features that will be introduced in Season 5, players are looking forward to Warzone 2. It turns out that the excitement stemmed from a leak by Metaphor, one of Warzone’s most prominent players. According to his most recent Warzone 2 leak, the much-desired FOV slider will be included in the sequel.

Warzone 2 leak claims that the console FOV slider will appear in the sequel.
A possible release date for the battle royale sequel was leaked in August. The leaked November 16 release date has players extremely excited to discover the next chapter of Warzone. Furthermore, it appears that players may be getting their most desired feature that was missing from the original.
Since the days of Verdansk, console players have been requesting a Warzone FOV slider. Of course, the feature never made it to Warzone, and with Season 5 being the show’s final season, this will continue to be the case.
I was told FOV slider is confirmed for last gen consoles for all iw9 projects (mp,wz2,dmz)

Fortunately, a well-known Warzone player by the name of Metaphor is now claiming that Warzone 2 will grant console players’ greatest wish as a FOV slider is anticipated to appear. It’s noteworthy that Metaphor also claims that owners of consoles from previous generations will have access to a FOV slider. According to their source, the FOV slider will also be available in DMZ and Modern Warfare 2.
While players weren’t shocked to see the feature’s rumored inclusion for multiplayer, the leak has given players hope that Warzone 2 could be a smoother experience than Warzone: “multiplayer i’d expect as Vanguard had it, i hope this means Warzone 2 is optimised better.”
What? How the hell a fat PS4 or a VCR xbox one from almost 10 years ago is going to run WZ2 on 120 FOV with consistent frames?
I can’t wait to see it.— SinaSouls (@gascoigne_f) August 18, 2022
Although the rumored inclusion of the feature for multiplayer wasn’t a surprise to players, the leak has given them hope that Warzone 2 might offer a more streamlined experience than Warzone: “multiplayer i’d expect as Vanguard had it, i hope this means Warzone 2 is optimised better.”
We’ll have to wait to find out what Warzone 2 console players can expect since these are just leaks. But if these early leaks are accurate, players might be happy to finally get what they’ve been waiting for.
