Victoria Beckham currently has a successful denim collection named ‘Victoria Beckham Denim’, and the designer has just announced that she plans to merge the line with her ‘Victoria, Victoria Beckham’ clothing collection. She believes both collections have the same aim – to provide the wearer with smart and fashion-forward clothing to wear on a daily basis, so she felt it was right to put the two together in a way that can see the brand evolve into something fresh. Victoria commented on the business move:
”I am very proud of the sense of fun and inclusiveness we’ve created with our sister brand since we launched. It’s now time to take the VVB girls on further adventures – beyond the parties and cocktails and into the workplace and the everyday.”
Victoria, who just closed Singapore Fashion Week with a presentation of her current collection, thinks the merging collections brings exciting possibilities because it combines the best of both ideas into one single vision. She believes the two just work so effortlessly together and she is excited to see what the future will bring for the new line:
”The key elements of the Denim collection that have resonated incredibly well with my girl fit so neatly within the Victoria, Victoria Beckham line that over time we saw it only made sense to combine the two into one collection. The possibilities are really exciting.”
Victoria said while gearing up for her presentation in Singapore:
”Last minute preparations … who said I was too Posh to push???? x vb #SGFW #VBTour’.
The new collection will range in price from $195 to $1,990 and will launch it’s first collection for pre-spring 2016.
