Victoria Beckham has commented that whenever a magazine airbrushes her to look younger, she feels embarrassed. She doesn’t think magazines need to make anyone look younger, especially as she feels comfortable with her age and doesn’t even want to be made to look like she’s in her twenties anymore. She insists that “tons of retouching” just isn’t needed because she has no issues with her age and can’t see why magazines do it:
“Normally in a fashion shoot you’d be plastered in makeup, in amazing clothes. I find it embarrassing when you don’t look like yourself, when you’ve had tons of retouching. I don’t want to be made to look like I’m 25, I’m 39. I don’t have any issues with my age.”
The fashion designer also reveals that the sky is the limit and she wants to own an entire empire. She loves designing and is passionate about making good quality clothing which she even enjoys wearing herself:
”I just wanted to create beautiful clothes, good quality clothes I wanted to wear myself, and then I wanted to create handbags, because I couldn’t find the right handbag that I wanted to carry. Then I couldn’t find the right sunglasses, so I decided to make my own sunglasses. I want to get bigger and bigger I absolutely want an empire.”
