Vanessa Hudgens has opened up on what she feels was the worst moment of her career – the time nude photos of her were leaked onto the internet. Vanessa says that the situation really sucked for her and she will always see it as the downside of her fame:
“That was just a really s**tty situation that sucked. That was by far the worst moment of my career.”
On making a move away from her Disney career with racy new film ‘Spring Breakers’ which also stars fellow Disney actress Selena Gomez, Vanessa says that it has always been a hard transition to make and the only thing she can do is follow what she thinks is the right path:
“It’s always been hard for actors to cross that bridge but honestly, you have to hold out and do what you think is right for yourself. But I also think it is about finding someone who truly believes in you. Harmony took a really big jump in hiring me and [co-stars] Selena and [ABC Family actress] Ashley.”
Speaking on working with costar James Franco, Vanessa was left feeling that she still doesn’t know the actor and that he was so absorbed with being his character he never really revealed his true identity on set:
“I still don’t know him. I have no idea who James Franco is. I know who Alien is. He’s that into method acting. He comes on set as his character. In between scenes, he is still his character. When I first saw him, I was speechless because he just completely transformed himself. The way he talked, with that accent… Everything he does is so organic.”
