Luminaire Foscari and Genevieve Gruyere are two new playable characters introduced in the Tides of the Foscari DLC expansion, and we’ll show you how to unlock them in this guide.
Vampire Survivors Guide – How to unlock Genevieve Gruyere
Breaking the Seal of the Banished with Eleanor is required to unlock this character. To do so, first load the Abyss Foscari stage with Eleanor, then travel west until you reach the map’s edge, near the Stone Mask and Attractorb icons.
When you see a glowing, blue gem, you must side step near and by it in order for Eleanor to destroy the gem and thus break the Seal of the Abyss. To break the seal, you’ll need the evolved weapons SpellStrom, Millionaire, and Legionnaire. Genevieve Gruyere will be available once the seal on the Banished is broken.
Vampire Survivors Guide – How to unlock Luminaire Foscari
The process for unlocking Luminaire Foscari is similar to the one described above, except Maruto Cuts will accompany you instead of Eleanor.
Now, travel all the way south until you reach the map’s southernmost point, then turn left in search of a glowing, red gem. You must then sidestep near and by the gem in order for Maruto to destroy it and thus break the Seal of the Abyss.
To open the seal, you’ll need SpellStrom, Millionaire, and Legionnaire. When the seal is broken, Luminaire Foscari becomes available for use.
Note: To obtain Maruto Cuts, first unlock Eleanor Uziron and combine her three weapons into SpellStrom, then go to the character menu and purchase Maruto Cuts.
