Vampire Survivors is known not only for its great music, stage design, and gameplay, but also for its secrets. One of them is the 15th secret, which appears after you defeat The Directer in the Final Boss Fight, and it may perplex you a little. But don’t worry, we’re here to help you in solving it and unlocking the new Vampire Survivors secret character known as Avatar Infernas!
Vampire Survivors – How to Unlock Avatar Infernas
A few steps are required for you to be able to track down this secret character and have it fight on your side. First and foremost, you must defeat the final boss.
Deciphering the 15th secret
After that, a 15th secret is revealed to you, with a hint that says: “It is tangible only in the Inverted Inlaid Library. Good friends might then show the way.” The first part of this hint is very simple: start a run in the Inlaid Library stage and set it to Inverted mode.
The second line in the hint, on the other hand, is much less obvious but has been confirmed to refer to the two weapons Peachone and Ebony Wings. They must be equipped in order for this secret sequence to be visible. Important: DO NOT COMBINE/EVOLVE THEM. If they disappear from your inventory in this manner, the sequence will fail.
Finding the purple Reaper
After capturing the two pigeons, you must flee to the east (right). Basically, run down the middle of the map and keep pushing right, past the Gold Ring and Metaglio Right. You will see Purple Death playing the Piano; defeat it. It’s not moving or attacking you, so the bigger problem is if you accidentally pick up the guardians of the Gold Ring and Metaglio Right. To avoid them, hug the upper side of the Library’s wall.
Piano buttons order
When the purple Reaper is dead, you can sit at the same piano they were at. When you do this, the screen will be filled with a piano and clickable keys. Peachone and Ebony Wings will slowly fly onto specific keys, dictating which keys should be pressed. Keep an eye on which keys the two birds land on and in what order, then click the corresponding keys to continue the secret hunt.

- 6th in the bottom row
- 5th in the upper row
- 5th in the bottom row
- 1st in the upper row
Finding all nine coffins in the Inlaid Library
When you complete this, you will be transported to a new area and your field of view will be greatly reduced as red eyes approach you in the darkness. On your map, you will see nine coffins in that Arena. If you open all nine of them, Avatar Infernas will spawn and try to chase you down. Maintain your distance while dealing as much damage as possible, and Infernas will eventually perish, awarding you with his playable character version and his weapon, Flames of Misspell.
