Here you’ll find everything you need to know about teaching your Sim to ride a bike in The Sims 4: Growing Together.
The Sims 4 Growing Together Guide – How to learn to ride a bike
Make sure you have a bike before you begin riding! You can buy seven bicycles in the Build Menu for around 100-125 Simoleons (eight if you have Discover University). If you don’t get one with the “Supports Children” tag at the bottom, you’ll end up with one that only adults can use.
Once you’ve bought a bike for a child, select your young Sim and click “Practice Riding Bike.” They’ll go out and start riding the bike, pacing back and forth awkwardly as they get used to its movement. Your child Sim’s motor skills will also naturally improve, allowing you to make progress toward future goals. They’ll get better at biking over time, and the task will appear in your aspiration menu.
As an aside, if your bicycle mysteriously vanishes, check your child Sim’s personal inventory! They’ll frequently pick up the bike and carry it around instead of leaving it outside.
From here on out, you’ll mostly be waiting for your young Sim to practice enough to learn how to ride a bike. If you want to speed things up a little, you can ask a nearby adult Sim for assistance by selecting “Ask for Help With Bike Riding.” Just be aware that if the two Sims have distant or difficult family dynamics, they may feel slightly uneasy around each other during the process!
This is how you teach your Sim to ride a bike in The Sims 4 Growing Together.
