In The Outlast Trials, unlocking Rigs requires accumulating points and progressing through the game.
The first step towards unlocking special Rigs is to go through the house and dispose of your records before entering the Murkoff Facility. The Bingo Fuel Garage is one of the shops at the facility. It’s on the ground floor, to the right of the main entrance (which requires release tokens).
Follow the red line on the floor to Cornelius Noakes, the engineer. There will be a display of the various Rig systems here, as well as the option to purchase from him.
Only after reaching therapy level 2 will you be able to obtain a Rig. This is your progress meter, as each trial you complete earns you XP toward leveling up your therapy bar.
To check your current therapy level, go to the facility’s central terminal and select Records. The blue bar indicates how much XP you will need to level up.
The Outlast Trials Guide – How to unlock Amps
Amps can be purchased from one of the Murkoff, Dorris NPCs. She is usually found sitting in the institute’s cafeteria on the top floor.
