UPDATE: Zach Ertz of the Arizona Cardinals suffered a knee injury after making a 12-yard catch in the first quarter of Arizona’s Week 10 game against the Los Angeles Rams.
Zach Ertz was able to walk off the field on his own, but he went directly to the blue medical tent. However, he was quickly carted into the locker room. Arizona deemed his return “questionable.”
Ertz’s career appeared to be on the decline in 2020 after the veteran tight end posted horrific efficiency and career-low fantasy production while missing five games.
Last season, Ertz started all 17 games and finished fifth in fantasy points. So much for that.
During his 11 games with Arizona, the 2013 second-round pick handled a 21% target share (7.5 per game) and finished sixth in fantasy PPG. After finishing third in total and end zone (10) targets last season, Ertz returns as one of Kyler Murray’s top targets in 2022. Ertz is a good bet for another top-10 fantasy season.
