Since 2018, Niamh Blackshaw has portrayed Hollyoaks’ most beloved character, Juliet Nightingale, but she was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer.
Last year, Juliet received a diagnosis of Hodgkin’s lymphoma and began treatment to combat the disease.
Unfortunately, this treatment did not have the desired effect, and doctors ultimately informed her that, due to the aggressive nature of her disease, she required a stronger form of chemo.
Niamh Blackshaw, who plays her on the show, has lately stated that her character would be killed off in upcoming episodes.
