Stepping onto the red carpet at the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards, Taylor Swift once again looked effortlessly elegant in a floor-length gown by J Mendel. Featuring a plunging neckline and some sheer side panels which flash a diamond-shaped piece of flesh on each side, Taylor looks sexy and like she’s trying to go for something slightly different to her usual choices with this look. It still has all the obvious Swifty things about it though – classy, feminine and quite timeless. She paired the dress with loose curled hair and navy eyeliner/eyeshadow which was also different to her usual makeup choice that normally includes a classic red lip.
Taylor is slowly stepping out of her comfort zone and trying something new with this outfit. It isn’t a radical change, but it doesn’t need to be because she usually looks amazing on the red carpet anyway. Taylor gets it right with this sophisticated yet subtle ensemble that flaunts her figure in a classy way, without having to show off anything or be worried about wardrobe malfunctions! Taylor’s style impresses just as it always does – she always picks an amazing dress to wear and this once again tops every best dressed list. Keeping it simple is key!
