Taylor Swift has opened up on what it was like to receive hate from ‘One Direction’ fans during that brief time she dated Harry Styles. The singer says she tried to ignore anything hateful going on around her during that time because she doesn’t think it’s healthy to see what other people are saying about you, especially the fans who didn’t want to see her with Harry:
‘I never read one hateful thing said about me by some 12 year old. So I got to live an actual life. And I’ve kept that mentality. Just because there’s a hurricane going on around you doesn’t mean you have to open the window and look at it.”’
Speaking on what might cause her to break up with someone, Taylor says you often end up overlooking those deal-breakers if it’s the right person:
“Here’s what I’ve learned about deal-breakers. If you have enough natural chemistry with someone, you overlook every single thing that you said would break the deal.”
And on dating other celebs, Taylor says you can’t just rule them on based on fame and she also doesn’t believe if matters if they are a celebrity or not because everyone is very interested in her love life, no matter who it involves:
‘You can’t say, “I’m never gonna date a high-profile person in the arts!” But whoever I date, famous or not – whether I ever date again! – all chaos will break loose. With fabrication and frantic obsession and who likes who more and how it ended. But right now is easy because I’m single and happy, and it’s very relaxing.’
