Taylor Swift has admitted that she doesn’t know the key to making her relationships last. She believes she’s still figuring out how to make her love life work and when she is in a relationship she’s trying to figure it out as she goes along. She hopes she can figure out the secret in the future, but for now she doesn’t have a clue:
“How to make them last. I’ve never had a really long relationship, so I have no idea what that’s like. Wish me luck for the future!”
The singer who is famous for incorporating her love life into her music says that each time she makes a mistake in a relationship she learns a hard lesson and thinks the more she learns the more hope there is that her romance will last because she knows where she’s gone wrong in the past and can make it work in the future because of what she’s been through:
“I don’t know. I think that idea of love I hope for is that you learn a lesson and you don’t have to learn it twice. But the song I Knew You Were Trouble is about when I knowingly made the same mistake twice. I couldn’t resist it – there’s that temptation to push yourself into a risky situation with someone who is going to hurt you, and that’s what that song is about: not trusting your own instincts and ignoring all the red flags.”
