Taylor Swift has revealed that she is obsessed with hip-hop. It may not be her own personal music style, but the singer reveals that she loves how real it is and says that Eminem is one of her favourite musicians. She comments that she loves the honesty involved:
“I love hip-hop so much. There’s something so honest about it.”
However, she goes on to say that she wouldn’t ever swear in her music because she knows that would be a problem and she doesn’t think she needs to use bad language in her songs. She also knows that if she did, her management would have a complete freak out:
“I don’t have a big scary management situation where I have to ask them. If I wrote a song called ‘F**k’ I think people would kind of raise their hand and go, like, ‘Maybe swear less?’ But I just don’t really feel the need to swear in my music.”
Taylor knows that no one wants her to release a rap song but she would be interested in singing for a rap song sometime and says she would say yes in an instant if she was asked:
“Nobody wants to hear me rap but I’d sing a chorus for someone for sure. I would sign up for that in a heartbeat.”
