According to an insider close to the couple, Lamar Odom is annoyed that Khloe Kardashian took the job as the next ‘X Factor’ host because he believes it interferes with their plans to start a family because they’re spending more time apart. Lamar reportedly expected Khloe to make some sacrifices to ensure that they’ll finally get to have the baby they’ve been trying for, but now that she’s landed the job, he’s increasingly upset that they aren’t together:
”Khloe promised that his career would be the priority. She also agreed they would spend more time together in an attempt to have a baby. ‘They’ve been trying for three years without any luck and Khloe’s been gung-ho about alternative methods including IVF. But now she is going to be totally consumed with ‘The X Factor’ and he’ll be spending a lot of time on the road with the Clippers. So they’ll see less of each other than ever.”
Lamar is frustrated and feels that Khloe is deviating from their plan which was for his career to come first. He believes she’s choosing money over love and this has left him feeling hurt:
”Lamar is really hurt and angry. He can’t help feeling betrayed by Khloe’s decision to spend more time on her career than on his. It’s like she’s choosing money over love.”
