How to get a Skimmer Ball in Sports Story
To begin, proceed northeast from the beach’s starting point toward the pier. Then, talk to the character with the ponytail and blue cap to earn punches. The first challenge to earn punches will be to successfully hit the new skimmer balls into at least three rings. When you complete this challenge, you will receive the Skimmer Ball as well as a punch on your playing card.
Note: To complete this challenge, you will need the Sandy Wedge!
A free Skimmer Ball can be found in a goodie bag given by a character wearing a blue shirt and blue baseball cap north of the Lifeguard station, near a pier with a white fence that says “PureStrike.” This character will be sandwiched between two balloons. The goodie bag will also contain a Vector Ball and a Steel Ball.
You can also buy them later in the game from the Golf Store in the mall.
