According to some close friends of Selena Gomez, they’re glad that she has finally gone her separate ways from Justin Bieber. The couple, who recently called it quits after 2 years together, spent a lot of time not completely happy and according to insiders, Selena was even in tears on a regular basis over the relationship, which is why friends are now happy that it’s finally come to a close:
”It’s been so difficult to watch this unfold over the past year or so. Selena has shed so many tears over Justin. She’s tried to split up with him so many times but they have always ended up back together. It’s out in the open now and that is one of the toughest parts, so that means there’s more chance it will be permanent this time. But we expect Justin to try to win her back – and he tends to get what he wants.”
According to reports, the couple were last seen on Sunday in New York City, entering a hotel at different times where they discussed and then ended their relationship after having a heart-to-heart:
”I saw Selena go into the hotel around 5:40 pm and not even three hours later, Justin went in. I saw him leave around 11 pm.”
Justin has since been linked to several Victoria’s Secret models following his performance at the annual Victoria’s Secret show where he reportedly got flirty with some of the girls backstage.
