Selena Gomez recently mysteriously canceled a large portion of her ‘Stars Dance’ tour, cutting out several major stops in Australia and Asia. When the news broke, many were concerned that Selena was suffering from a serious issue which prompted the cancellation, with rumors of even a possible rehab admission swirling, but she has now put fans fear to rest. The singer took to her Instagram account to share a photo of herself back at home with her half-sister Gracie, who is just 6 months old. She commented:
”I’m the happiest I’ve been in a while.. So blessed and thankful for the future, for release and to finally be happy for those I loved..”
She also issued a statement apologizing to fans who would be missing out due to her change of plans. She said that she needs to take some personal time because she has put her career of her relationships for far too long. She added that she really values her fans and is sorry that she had to cancel the planned dates:
”My fans are so important to me and I would never want to disappoint them. But it has become clear to me and those close to me that after many years of putting my work first, I need to spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be. To my fans, I sincerely apologise and I hope you guys know how much each and every one of you mean to me.”
