‘The Only Way is Essex’ reality star Sam Faiers has released a range of fake eyelashes that are “kind” to eyes. Sam suffers from trichotillomania, which often causes her to pull her hair resulting in hair loss, and she says that because of her condition, regular eyelash glues would always harm her skin and eventually leave damage. She has decided to team her new lashes with a latex glue different from standard lash sets, which even has some benefits for the skin instead. She also commented that her unique collection includes subtle lashes for everyday use, as well as glamorous designs for evening:
”I’ve never been able to use eyelash glue because I have no eyelashes after pulling them all out. So the glue would go straight into the follicles and rip my skin. My eyelash range uses latex glue, full of vitamins so they’re kind to eyes. I’ve designed lashes for glam nights with the girls and lighter ones for a more natural look.”
Sam admits she has been very busy this year, having also released a full clothing collection in collaboration with Very, and the new lashes collection is just one of many different projects she has released, but she has really enjoyed the experience of being involved in the fashion and beauty worlds:
”I’ve been so busy – I’m travelling a lot, I have my lashes collection to promote, my Very collection and my La Bella gift set out, so it’s been a mad year, but it’s been amazing.”
