There is mounting pressure for the Los Angeles Lakers to make a move to improve their roster before the NBA trade deadline. Cam Reddish of the New York Knicks is one player who has been linked to them.
The New York Knicks’ Cam Reddish is the target of interest from the Los Angeles Lakers
The Lakers are reportedly willing to include Kenny Nunn and Patrick Beverley in a trade for Reddish with the Knicks, as reported by Sean Deveney of Heavy.com.
The fact that both Nunn and Beverley will become free agents this offseason makes it difficult for the Lakers to trade for either player. Consequently, clubs may be hesitant to offer significant compensation for a pair of players they may lose at the end of the season for nothing.
However, they are still one of the Lakers’ top trade assets. If the Lakers could acquire Cam Reddish, it would be a low-risk, high-reward move.

Reddish, the 10th pick in the 2019 NBA draft, had a promising career with the Atlanta Hawks before being traded to the New York Knicks. With the Knicks, he has seen sporadic playing time and has struggled to establish himself.
The Lakers might be able to acquire Reddish without giving up a great deal of talent, with a trade package centered on Kendrick Nunn being the most likely option. After missing most of last season with an injury, Nunn has returned to the court this year and has been performing admirably.
