Rebecca Ferguson posts an adorable first photo of her fourth child
Rebecca Ferguson and Jonny Hughes announced the birth of their first child in February, just days after they were born on Valentine’s Day.
Rebecca, who has three children from two previous relationships, shared her first photo with her newborn baby on Instagram on Friday.
As she cuddled up to her infant child, who was dressed in a yellow onesie, she cut an elegant figure in a pink and gold wrap-around dress.
The adoring mother slicked back her brunette hair into a tight up-do and accentuated her striking features with a high-glamour make-up palette.
She cuddled up to her baby, the name and gender of which have not been revealed, as they posed in front of their Easter decorations in their conservatory.
In an accompanying caption, she wrote about her first Easter with her fourth child: ‘Another little bunny enjoying this time of year!
‘My creative kids put together a wonderful spread and we spent the day decorating. Happy Easter!’
Her sweet post comes two months after she unexpectedly announced the birth of her fourth child on social media.
The singer, 36, announced the happy news on Instagram in February, along with an adorable photo of their new baby.
Along with the photo, she wrote: ‘Surprise! Turns out I can keep a secret. Born on Valentines Day.’
Rebecca, a competition finalist in 2010, and Jonny kept the pregnancy a secret, and this is their first child together.
After seven years of dating, the couple married in December of last year at her “dream wedding venue” in London’s upmarket Mayfair district.
Rebecca stated at the time that the ‘final puzzle piece’ in her life was now in place following a ceremony at The Dorchester hotel.
She told HELLO! that her children Lillie, 18, Karl, 16, and Arabella, 8, were present at her wedding to the sports agent.
Rebecca has two children from a previous relationship with ex Karl Dures, whom she met as a teenager, and one from a later relationship with Arabella.
The singer explained: ‘Years ago when I was starting out, I’d get the Megabus from Liverpool to London. It was cheap as chips. We used to drive past Park Lane.
‘It was inspirational for me because I’d be looking at The Dorchester, thinking, “One day I’ll get to stay there.” It was a dream come true for me to get married there.’
Rebecca also mentioned how far she has come in putting the ‘horrible stuff’ behind her and finding “peace and happiness.’
Johnny described his bride as beautiful, adding that seeing Lillie with a tear in her eye was ‘really touching.’
When Rebecca asked other long-term couples how they knew they had ‘met the one’, they said you ‘just know’.
She added: ‘I felt the same with Jonny. I could be myself around him.’
