Actress Rashida Jones has revealed that once John Travolta came over to her house when she was younger and the whole family freaked out because they were all so excited to meet the ‘Grease’ actor and they ended up embarrassing themselves. She says they went “red” and even ended up running away from John because he was so mega famous:
“John Travolta came to the house. And because Grease was the only thing we ever watched, it was game over. That’s all we cared about. We freaked out, ignored him, ran in the other direction and turned red.”
Speaking on backing the president, Rashida says she is getting involved in the campaign but won’t be doing so to the extent that others do because it isn’t always tasteful and she wants to do it subtly without overexposing herself although she admits she does want to help:
“I absolutely am. Anything I can do. I feel like there is this weird thing where celebrity involvement in political campaigns kind of goes together like peanut butter and chocolate. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s bad. I wouldn’t overexpose myself in the name of the President, I just want to do what I can to help.”
