On Thursday, Rachel Weisz shared a touching anecdote about her four-year-old daughter, Grace.

On The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the 53-year-old Oscar winner confessed that her James Bond spouse, Daniel Craig, 55, has been exposing their daughter to Star Wars.
‘Daniel and our daughter have been watching Star Wars,’ said Rachel. ‘It was like a father-daughter, kind of, bonding experience, and they started on the original ones.’
She explained, ‘My daughter got obsessed. Like, she kept saying, “Google this. Google this. What does Darth Vader look like under his mask?”‘
The Bourne Legacy actress added that her daughter became infatuated with Star Wars and wanted to know everything about the mythology and characters, so she and Daniel decided to put the binge-watching on hold for the time being.
‘He decided to tell her that Star Wars is broken,’ she said.
Rachel explained, ‘So, we were in London when this happened, so she said, “Dad said Star Wars is broken,” so they can’t watch it anymore. And then, we just got to New York, and she was like, “Is Star Wars broken in New York, too?” And so, I said, “Yeah, yeah, it’s broken.”‘
Grace and her 007 Dad spent their father-daughter bonding time watching the original three Star Wars films: A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi.
The Glass Onion star also showed his daughter his cameo role in The Force Awakens as a stormtrooper.
Rachel is now on a press trip to promote her new miniseries Dead Ringers, which will be available on Amazon Prime on Friday, April 21st.
The six-part miniseries is a gender-flipped remake of director David Cronenberg’s 1988 psychological thriller of the same name, which starred Jeremy Irons as twin gynecologists running an infertility clinic.
Weisz plays Elliot and Beverly Mantle, twins who share everything: drugs, lovers, and an unashamed willingness to do whatever it takes.
They collaborate to test the limits of medical ethics in order to challenge outdated methods and bring women’s health care to the forefront.
The original film was derived on Bari Wood and Jack Geasland’s 1977 novel Twins, which was largely based on the true story of twin gynecologists Stewart and Cyril Marcus.
They were both 45 years old when they were discovered dead in separate rooms of Cyril’s Manhattan apartment in July 1975, with Stewart dying of a barbiturate overdose and Cyril suspected of perhaps committing suicide after discovering his brother’s death.
