Justin Bieber may be a squeaky-clean high-pitched crooner, but according to his latest mouth-vomit, he loves to listen to the heavy guitar riffs and angst-ridden lyrics of metal band Metallica – does this mean he’s finally hit puberty? Perhaps tomorrow he’ll be caught with a dimebag and will start quoting Kurt Cobain. Justin spoke on his new appreciation for a darker sound:
”I like rock music, I like Guns N’ Roses and Metallica. The Beatles. I like Metallica’s ‘Fade to Black’ and ‘One’. It’s edgy and emotional with those instruments and electric guitars and stuff.”
Justin also admits that pop music can at times be a “scam” because of how people put together music simply to cash in rather than to express their passion, but he does believe there is some true artists out there, and of course he must be one of the ones that isn’t part of the scam, right?. Hmm. Justin says:
”I think some pop music is definitely a scam, because its just someone putting together a hot song. But, I think when there’s an artist that’s truly talented, and they have the music to show for it, that’s when you can talk.”
Justin finishes off the amazing interview by suggesting that he profits from haters who leave comments on social networking sites, although it doesn’t actually seem possible, but whatever makes him feel better as he sleeps in his bed of money and cries about it all. Justin laughs it off:
”I would say to my haters; I love you. Thank you for supporting me by hating me. When they write messages on my YouTube page, I get money for that. So they’re just giving me money to hate on me.”
