It’s time for the Pokémon GO live event! In this article, we’ll go over all of the Exploration Challenge tasks and rewards available in Pokémon GO Safari Zone Taipei.
Pokémon GO Safari Zo ne Taipei – Exploration Challenge Tasks & Rewards
Trainers can participate in a variety of in-game experiences and gameplay activities at the most recent Safari Zone live event in Taipei. If you bought a ticket to the next Pokémon GO Safari Zone, you’re probably eager to get started and participate in the activities. The Safari Zone for October will take us to Da’an Forest Park in Taipei.
Niantic has added a brand new limited-time challenge for this event, in addition to Wild Encounters, Raids, and Research tasks. The new Exploration Challenge will be available from October 22nd at 8 a.m. local time until October 23rd at 8 p.m. local time, with completion of the tasks awarding Trainers XP, Stardust, and Pokémon encounters.

Exploration Challenge (1/1)
- Explore a kilometer: Finneon encounter
- Explore two kilometers: Finneon encounter
- Explore three kilometers: Finneon encounter
- Explore four kilometers: Finneon encounter
- Explore five kilometers: Finneon encounter
Players will be rewarded with a Finneon encounter for each task they complete. There’s also a possibility that a Shiny Finneon will show up during these encounters as well. Trainers can also evolve Finneon to Lumineon for 50 Finneon Candy if they capture enough Finneon during this event.
Finneon will appear in Wild Encounters in Shiny form, alongside other Pokémon such as Unown T, P, and E and the event’s three Pikachu variations. This event experience is only available to those in attendance at the Pokémon Go Safari Zone: Taipei event over the weekend.
To ensure a successful capture of the Wing Fish Pokémon, make sure you have enough Poké Balls in your inventory and make good use of their Berries. Finally, visit the various spawning locations to increase your chances of encountering Finneon, and use a few Nice and Curveball Throws for good measure.
The Safari Zone: Taipei event will be held at the Da’an Forest Park until October 23rd, 2022, at 6 p.m. local time. Similarly, all Trainers can take part in the Halloween in-game event until November 1st, 2022 at 10 a.m. local time.
