They may share a haircut these days (Miley’s fault for copycatting) but Pink says she won’t support Miley Cyrus because she thinks all of her twerking antics are tacky. She believes she has seen Miley do much better in the past and doesn’t get why Miley feels the need to resort to such behavior for attention. She calls Miley “freaking talented” and knows she can sing amazingly but just needs to cool it with the dance:
”Am I into it? [Miley’s twerking] no, I think it’s tacky. She’s really freaking talented, she’s beautiful. She can sing her ass off and to go up there and do that? She’s cheating herself and she’s cheating the rest of us.”
Pink adds thats that Miley is very talented but she won’t stand behind her even if others like it:
”She can do what she wants. People can like it if they want. I’m not going to buy it. She can do better. I’ve seen her do better.”
‘Pink also says that it’s fine to twerk in the privacy of your own home, but the raunchy dance doesn’t really belong on the stage:
”I twerk all the time – like a mofo. There’s a place for that and it’s not on stage.”
