Stepping out to take daughter Suri Cruise to a fun play-date at Alice’s Tea Cup in Uptown Manhattan while simultaneously pretending there is nothing major going on in her life right now, Katie Holmes made the paparazzi stop in their tracks as she actually smiled for them! Katie and Tom’s divorce is huge news at the moment, but instead of hiding away in terror and reading every weird divorce explanation online, Katie has been heading out as usual – she even took Suri out for ice-cream immediately after the news made headlines. There are two ways this is actually playing out.
A – she’s actually horribly upset by the split, but had to do it for Suri’s sake (saving her from Scientology, right?) . She’s putting on a brave face and fake smile to make us all believe she’s doing fine and made the decision to improve her own life. B – she’s actually really happy she isn’t attached to Tom anymore, the smile is real and she’s throwing a divorce party tonight complete with buff male strippers, Gwyneth Paltrow and Sex on the Beach cocktails to celebrate. Her ex Chris Klein will be there for her to immediately re-bound too, and he’ll adopt Suri and everything will be amazing.
