“Extra dates added to Peter Kay’s arena tour!” Kay, 49, tweeted. and announced the addition of two new shows to his London residency at the O2 Arena.
The comedian has added two new Peter Kay Live dates in Birmingham, four in London, and six in Manchester, and later tweeted that additional London and Manchester dates had been added.

Kay last went on tour in 2011 and was scheduled to return in 2018, but he cancelled all of his work commitments in December 2017 due to “unforeseen family circumstances” and has only appeared publicly a handful of times in support of charities since then.

Many people said they saw messages on the Ticketmaster website saying there were over 200,000 people ahead of them in the virtual line.
He is the first artist in the world to announce a monthly residency at the venue on Zoe Ball’s Radio 2 Breakfast Show on Wednesday.
