Updates on Alexander Mattison, Jordan Mason, Andy Dalton and Jahan Dotson for NFL Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Week 18
SUMMARY
- Alexander Mattison
- Jordan Mason
- Andy Dalton
- Jahan Dotson
Let’s get started.
1. Alexander Mattison
The Vikings will almost certainly play their starters in Week 18 at Chicago, but Dalvin Cook’s playing time could be reduced if the game is decided to rest him for the playoffs.
If that happens, Mattison could see more touches, making him a sneaky sleeper in deeper leagues against the Bears, who rank third in Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs.
2. Jordan Mason
We’ll see how much Christian McCaffrey plays in Week 18 against Arizona, but with a win and an Eagles loss to the Giants, the 49ers could be the No. 1 seed in the NFC.
That could imply that McCaffrey is using all of his snaps. If the game gets out of hand and San Francisco wins, we might see more of Mason and less of McCaffrey, making Mason a flex option and sneaky sleeper in deeper leagues.

3. Andy Dalton
With a matchup against the Panthers, Dalton is worth a look in Superflex and two-quarterback leagues in Week 18.
Carolina’s top cornerbacks, Jaycee Horn (wrist) and Donte Jackson (Achilles), are both out, and Dalton has scored at least 18 Fantasy points in three of his last four home starts.
4. Jahan Dotson
Dotson struggled in Week 17 against Cleveland, catching three passes for 37 yards on seven targets, snapping a three-game streak of scoring at least 16 PPR points.
He should bounce back this week against the Cowboys, who have given up at least 14 PPR points to eight different receivers in their last five games.
We’ll see who starts at quarterback for the Commanders in Week 18, but given the matchup, Dotson should be considered a high-end No. 3 Fantasy receiver in all leagues. Terry McLaurin, meanwhile, has a chance to shine against Dallas.
