A widespread scoreboard bug has been plaguing MW2 players, with many fans attributing the issue to players who are level 600 or higher.
MW2 scoreboard not showing bug
According to a recent Reddit post, one user has reported that when they try to access the scoreboard on the PS5, they get their loadout screen instead of the scoreboard. The same thing appears to happen after “the final killcam,” as they’ve been experiencing constant stuttering instead of the typical KDA display.
The owner of the post would then go on to say that after reaching level 620, their rank badge “has also reset to the default in the lobby.” Those who responded in the same thread pointed to this fact as the primary cause of the poster’s ongoing predicament. One commenter even stated that because they are that player with a level greater than 600, they will be “screwed” until the developers release a patch.
Unfortunately, given the size of the CoD user base, this isn’t the only instance of a faulty scoreboard, as a number of other MW2 players have reported the same problem. Hopefully, Infinity Ward and Raven Software will be able to issue a resolution soon, as this prevalent issue may cause many of the game’s devoted fans to abandon the game entirely.
