Miley Cyrus was spotted frolicking backstage with some of the models (including Cara Delevingne) at the Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2013 show in New York City. Miley has gone through a considerable makeover as of late. First she chopped off all of her hair into a punkish blonde pixie cut, then she revamped her style to match. Now, she looks pretty much like a completely new person so she was barely recognizable in her latest photos, especially since she’s randomly at a Marc Jacobs show. She went for a feminine look including a stripe skirt, Minnie Mouse crop top sweater (all those hours of aerobics weren’t a waste of time) and pointed black heels.
Finishing of the look with a black clutch, red lips and a fresh-faced complexion, Miley looks odd here. She’s obviously been forced to wear Marc Jacobs to the Marc Jacobs show (it’s fashionista’s etiquette don’t you know) and it suits her beautifully. She blends her own personality with that quirky elegance that Jacobs is known for. It is odd. It works. Miley is becoming a young woman, as cliché as that sounds, it appears her style overhaul is entering its finishing stages and she finally gets to look like the version of herself that she’s always wanted. She has bravely done all of this in the spotlight and basically given the middle finger to anyone who hates it. It’s a whole new Miley, and she might actually be kinda cool.
