Miley Cyrus is bored of her short hair already. The singer, who previously claimed that her new hairdo caused a wave of copycats, says she wants to grow it out and is pulling on it daily to get it to grow because she’s anxious to get rid of it. She admits that she is a fan of a “good weave” but needs to grow her hair a little longer in order to get some fake hair attached because currently there is nothing to attach it to:
“I love a good weave. I can’t help it. I love a good piece, but I don’t really have anything to clip. Yesterday, I wore a rat tail. I have short hair. I feel like I’m speaking on behalf of like girls everywhere, like, breaking this stereotype. But I’m secretly tugging on it every night. I’m not gonna lie.”
Opening up on her daring nude Marc Jacobs’ “Protect ths Skin You’re In” charity t-shirt, Miley says that stripping off for the good cause was a way to raise awareness:
“I think if I can just use where I am in my career and use myself as a pedestal to do good — even if it means getting naked, ’cause more people are gonna look at it.”
Commenting on her changing image, Miley says puberty had a hand in her evolution (although this must have taken place at least a few years ago?) and thinks people are fascinated by her changes:
“It’s called puberty. Everyone’s done it from the beginning of time. I’m just doing it [in the spotlight] so you’re zooming in on it and you’re fascinated by it. I don’t think people understand how I’m a real human being.”
