Michelle Williams has opened up on keeping her private life under wraps. The actress, who is currently dating Jason Segel according to reports, says she prefers to keep her life separate from her acting career:
“I need to keep my life very separate. I live and love and make decisions from a very comfortable and removed place. That’s how it works for me.”
Speaking on relationships, Michelle comments that a “nice” partner isn’t enough, you have to be more compatible and go after what you really want because you deserve someone with everything that you desire – niceness isn’t enough to build a relationship on she has discovered:
“You deserve more than just somebody who’s nice to you. I think that so often these days, niceness seems like it should be enough because it seems like such a rare quality but when you get inside of it, you think, ‘Hmmm … I can be pretty nice to myself.’ What about these other things? Life is too short and too crappy to not try to get more of what you want.”
