Ekin-Su Cülcüloglu is on a mission to prove that you don’t have to be skinny to be sexy, admitting that she doesn’t want to be a size zero and that she enjoys food and drink.

She told the Daily Star Sunday: “I’m not one of these people who has a six-pack.
“I don’t have abs and I’m not a size zero. I don’t want that.
“No one looks perfect unless you are in a championship or in a fitness competition.
“I eat and I drink. I even eat chocolate every time I go to the gym. I want to be me. I want to look normal and healthy.”
Ekin-Su works out on a regular basis, but she added: “The only reason I love the gym is because it’s good for my mental health.
“If I don’t work out then it affects my mood and energy… I feel sluggish and I feel like my day isn’t going well. So I think the gym is more of a mental thing for me.”
Ekin-Su is frequently booked for photoshoots.
However, the Turkish-born beauty does not feel at ease in front of the camera and admits to having nerves behind the scenes.
She’s now discovered a way to be confident and demonstrate that it’s all about having the right mindset, adding: “I just pretend that I’m posing to a friend or I’m just really feeling the moment and embracing what I’m wearing and being myself. That’s how we get a good photoshoot.”
Ekin-Su hopes to inspire other young women to be more confident.
She said: “I want to help people who suffer from things like depression and anxiety. I was bullied at school, so I know how it feels.
“I’ve had two people message me who were really struggling with their mental health. It was really sad.
“I said, ‘You’re beautiful, you’re strong, you don’t need anyone’s approval in life’. And the mum of one of them messaged me to say I’d saved her daughter. That felt so good.”
