Producers of Love Island reportedly want to sign Maya Jama to a “multi-series deal.”
The 28-year-old host dazzled in three outfits on Monday’s season nine premiere, but the black cutout dress in particular had viewers swooning.
And after her debut went so well, it has been reported that the show’s producers are considering keeping her on for the foreseeable future because she is “now a major TV force to be reckoned with.”
The Sun reports that marketers say the presenter’s debut has been a “dream scenario” for the show’s producers.
Jonathan Shalit, an expert in his field, explains: “Maya is quite simply fantastic – a true star and now a household name. She has nailed the role of Love Island host totally and shown herself to be a world A-list star. She is now a major TV force to be reckoned with.”
Meanwhile, the publication’s source elaborated that the ‘electric’ launch was the stuff of ‘a marketeer’s dreams,’ meaning that many people would likely tune in to the ITV2 show on catch up after hearing about it.
Furthermore, they stated: “You’d have to be living under a rock to have missed seeing a photo of Maya in that black dress yesterday and it will surely captivate those who previously only had a casual interest. One thing’s for sure – there will be a lot of urgent conversations around renewing her contract already under way.”

Maya flew back to London while the singles competed in the first challenge, and she won’t be back in South Africa until later this week.
One of his followers lamented on Twitter: “Can we have a Love Island where there’s no contestants, just an hour of Maya Jama being Maya Jama please.”
One more chimed in: “This is so boring, where’s Maya Jama.”
A third tweeted: “Where was Maya Jama tonight I missed her.”
