Singer Lily Allen has explained her makeup routine, commenting that she tries not to wear a lot of makeup during the day. Instead opting to leave her face quite fresh, Lily adds just some blush and bronzer to her face to contour which also gives her some light coverage. She thinks a full foundation should be only used at night time for events:
“Save foundation for the night. I try not to wear loads of make-up in the day. Instead I use bronzer to contour and add a touch of NARS Blush in Orgasm for my cheeks – just the right amount of coverage.”
Lily also advises never to touch a spot and to simply leave it alone to heal. She also takes good care of her skin and thinks there are some great foreign products that people should watch out for. She commented:
“Never touch a spot, just leave it. I do a full skincare regime every morning and night – I couldn’t live without my facial oil and electronic cleansing brush, they keep my skin clear. Visit foreign beauty aisles – you can find some treasures. When I’m in France, I buy Bioderma Sensibio H2O Cleanser – it’s new to the UK, but it’s much cheaper there! It’s great for taking off make-up.”
The singer tries to be gentle on her hair by trying out new shades with hair crayons before dyeing her locks with permanent chemicals which can be damaging if used too often:
“Use hair crayons to experiment with wacky colours. When my dye washes out and I don’t have time to permanently dye it, Bleach London’s hair crayons are great for trying out different colours in between seeing my colourist.”
