The GTA 6 map has been leaked online, revealing a vastly larger playable area when compared to previous installments’ Los Santos.
Leaked GTA 6 map reveals a vastly larger playable area than Los Santos from GTA V
Tusstaster, a Reddit user, recently shared an aerial view of what could be Vice City in Grand Theft Auto 6, and it looks amazing. It’s much larger than Los Santos, the setting of Grand Theft Auto 5.

The new area, as seen on the compared maps, stretches further to the south in a series of small islands, and is at its widest in the north; however, it is unclear whether the map continues beyond the limits of this view or simply cuts off.
Regardless, the GTA 6 map area is significantly larger than its predecessor, which suggests that the new game will be the largest entry in the franchise to date. Reddit is known to harbor trolls, so it’s up to you to determine if the comparison can be trusted.
The user who posted the map also explained what is on it. “There are countless Cities/Towns such as York Town, Red Hill, etc found in the files,” they say.
“Most of these locations point towards north of Port Gelhorn, making the map expand even further north.” This suggests that there is more to see, similar to the location of GTA 5’s first mission.
Although these are the first hints at what’s to come, we must wait for Rockstar’s official word. The GTA 6 map, on the other hand, will be a big deal, so don’t expect the developers to reveal it just yet.
Whatever’s coming, it suggests there’s a lot more going on below the surface. Hopefully, we’ll be able to see more of this enormous map as more information becomes available.
